Full job descriptionOur Client, a Merseyside council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their SafeguardingTeam.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and person-centred support planning for adults with care and support needs.
*Manage safeguarding concerns and lead Section 42 enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014, local policies, and procedures.
*Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes through strength-based practice and early intervention.
*Assess and manage risk, applying the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and safeguarding legislation appropriately.
*Work collaboratively with adults, carers, families, and multi-agency partners to coordinate effective support.
*Maintain accurate case records, prepare reports, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and safeguarding forums.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
