We are exploring the potential to appoint a Motor Vehicle Lecturer at our well-regarded institution in Southwest London. This role may be offered on a temporary or permanent basis and can be tailored to either full-time or part-time hours. The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about motor vehicle technology and dedicated to delivering high-quality education.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver lectures and practical sessions in motor vehicle mechanics, covering topics such as automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
*Develop and prepare comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and practical exercises.
*Assess and evaluate students’ work through assignments, tests, and practical projects.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and grades.
*Facilitate and lead discussions in the classroom, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving among students.
*Stay updated with the latest developments in motor vehicle technology and integrate modern practices into the curriculum.
*Provide academic and career guidance to students, helping them to navigate their educational and professional paths.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A degree in Motor Vehicle Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a closely related field.
*Proven experience in teaching or a similar role within the field of motor vehicle technology.
*Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of motor vehicle systems and repair techniques.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
*Commitment to educational excellence and continuous professional development.
