*Contract Duration: 3-6 months
*Hourly Rate: £375-£450 per day (Inside IR35)
*Location: Bedfordshire (Hybrid, mainly remote)

We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of integrated marketing, communications, and engagement activities across a diverse portfolio of programmes, campaigns, and partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly collaborative environment and is skilled in managing multiple workstreams within a fast-paced and complex setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Develop and deliver integrated marketing and communications plans that align with organisational priorities, programmes, and strategic objectives.
*Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-channel campaigns using paid, owned, and earned channels.
*Provide expert marketing and communications support across a range of programmes, projects, and partnerships.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and internal teams to maximise engagement opportunities and campaign reach.
*Plan and deliver change communications and engagement activities that support programme implementation and stakeholder adoption.
*Support the development and application of brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
*Work collaboratively with content, digital, communications, and design teams to create compelling campaign assets, toolkits, events materials, and digital content.
*Lead audience segmentation, targeting, and insight activities to improve audience engagement and campaign effectiveness.
*Manage agency and supplier relationships, including procurement activity, briefing, performance management, and budget oversight.
*Produce regular reporting and campaign evaluations, providing insight and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Significant experience in marketing, communications, brand, campaigns, or digital engagement roles.
*Proven track record of developing and delivering successful marketing and communications strategies and plans.
*Strong project and programme management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
*Knowledge of digital marketing, customer journeys, websites, and online engagement strategies.
*Experience managing external agencies, suppliers, and procurement processes.
*Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of measuring return on investment and campaign effectiveness.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
*Strategic thinker with a proactive and solutions-focused approach, comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
