We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer to join our client’s finance team on an immediate temporary basis for an initial four-week assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong transactional finance experience who can quickly integrate into a busy team and confidently manage day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing and inputting invoices and purchase orders accurately
*Preparing supplier payment runs
*Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
*Managing purchase ledger activities
*Supporting credit control processes
*Handling cash and banking transactions
*Posting, maintaining and electronically filing invoices
*Accurately processing financial transactions
*Assisting with general financial administration and accounting duties as required
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience working in a Finance Officer, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role
*Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, reconciliations, and general accounting processes
*Experience processing high volumes of financial transactions with excellent attention to detail
*Good working knowledge of accounting systems
*Strong organisational and time-management skills
*The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
*Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
