Full job descriptionLooking for a firm that values people, not profits? Reed Practice is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and growing regional independent accountancy firm in Suffolk to recruit an experienced Client Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that has built its success through organic growth while maintaining a genuine commitment to its people. Here, you’re more than just a fee earner.
You’ll be recognised, supported, and given every opportunity to develop your career in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Why join this firm?
*Flexible and hybrid working
*Clear progression opportunities
*Ongoing professional development and training
*Supportive leadership team
*Modern and collaborative culture
*Strong reputation across the region
*People-focused approach where staff are truly valued
*Fiercely independent
As the firm continues to grow, this newly created position offers the chance to become an integral part of a high-performing team, working closely with Directors and Partners while shaping the future development of both clients and colleagues.
The Role
As Client Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, building trusted relationships and providing expert business advice.
You’ll also:
*Manage and develop a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
*Advise on day-to-day accounting and taxation matters, with support from specialist tax colleagues where required
*Review accounts and work completed by junior team members
*Plan and allocate workflow across the team
*Mentor and support trainees, helping them achieve their career goals
*Work alongside Partners and Directors to identify opportunities for client growth and business development
*Initially oversee self-assessment tax returns, with a view to transitioning this work to the wider team
About You - We’re keen to speak with ambitious professionals currently working within an accountancy practice environment who have:
*Portfolio management experience
*Previous supervisory or management responsibility
*Strong client relationship skills
*Up-to-date technical accounting knowledge
*A passion for developing and supporting others
Whether you’re ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary & Benefits - The salary on offer is flexible and will reflect your experience and expertise. The firm is keen to attract the right individual and welcomes applications from talented professionals regardless of current remuneration.
Ready to join a firm where your career can thrive? Apply today or contact Natalie Harden at Reed Practice for a confidential discussion about this exceptional opportunity.
