Veritas Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Nelson to recruit a dedicated Year 1 Class Teacher from September 2026.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ early reading, writing and maths development, and create a classroom where children feel confident, supported and excited to learn.
The successful candidate will:*Have recent Year 1 or Key Stage 1 experience.
*Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
*Support early reading, writing and maths.
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
*Meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND.
*Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
*Promote confidence, independence and a love of learning.
