Join our client’s award-winning Corporate team with a national presence and international reach. They are seeking a Managing Associate with a strong background in corporate law, ready to handle significant deals and client relationships.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Engage in a full spectrum of corporate work including mergers and acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, venture capital, and private equity.
*Work collaboratively across various office locations, contributing to a seamless team environment.
*Drive business development opportunities, focusing on both retaining existing clients and developing new client relationships.
*Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and continuously develop interpersonal and soft skills.
*Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring competent financial management and adherence to firm-delivered targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
*Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the industry and business contexts of clients.
*Proven track record of financial management, meeting client expectations, and sound case management skills.
*Excellent IT skills, with experience in using case management systems, electronic time recording, and general Microsoft packages.
*Self-motivated, friendly, with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to embody the firm’s values consistently.
