A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a successful and growing Multi-Academy Trust in Hampshire.
This is a varied and rewarding position within a central finance team, offering the chance to work closely with senior leaders and support multiple schools across the Trust. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring financial operations run smoothly while contributing to an organisation dedicated to supporting local communities and delivering high-quality education.

The Role
As Finance Officer, you will support the Finance Director and wider finance team with the day-to-day financial administration of multiple schools.
Key duties will include:
Supporting budgeting and monthly management accounts
Processing invoices, payments and purchase orders
Bank and control account reconciliations
Supplier payment runs and statement reconciliations
Assisting with payroll administration and pension processes
Maintaining fixed asset registers
Supporting year-end accounts and audit preparation
Producing financial reports and analysis
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their finance experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
AAT Level 2 or 3 qualification, or relevant finance experience
Previous experience within a finance or administration role
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Desirable Experience
Payroll administration
Education, academy or public-sector finance experience
Finance software experience
