Flexible Tutoring Opportunities Across All Age Groups
We’re looking for PGCE-qualified Tutors to support children and young people across the BCP area through personalised 1:1 tuition.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you’ll provide tailored educational support to learners ranging from primary age through to post-16. Every placement is different, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups, subjects, and learning needs while helping students achieve positive outcomes.
Many of the learners we support require alternative educational provision and benefit from a tutor who can build confidence, adapt learning to individual needs, and create a positive educational experience.
*Location: BCP
*Age Range: Primary, Secondary & Post-16
*Start Date: September
*Hours: Flexible
*Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
*Type: 1:1 Tuition


Requirements
*PGCE qualification
*Minimum 6 months’ experience working in an educational setting, including teaching, tutoring, learning support, mentoring, teaching assistant, or similar roles
*Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
*Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area
