Job Description:
Full job descriptionButler Rose is recruiting an experienced Tax Manager for a period of 6 months for a large and complex organisation in Plymouth. This is a key role, responsible for overseeing tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities while supporting senior stakeholders across the business and offers hybrid working.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead and develop the tax team.
*Manage all tax compliance and reporting requirements.
*Support year-end accounts, audits and subsidiary reporting.
*Provide expert tax advice and ensure compliance with changing legislation.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimise tax efficiency.
*Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
About you:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with tax qualification (CTA, ATT) beneficial but not essential.
*Significant tax accounting and compliance experience.
*Strong technical tax knowledge and problem-solving skills.
*Experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
*Able to communicate complex tax matters clearly to non-finance colleagues.
