Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, based in Leicester, is currently recruiting for an Information Governance Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Dealing with sensitive information and high-profile matters, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
*Overseeing the completion of FOI Requests, SARs, and EIRs, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines
*Coordinate and support the handling of personal data breaches, including logging, information gathering, and progressing actions
*Handling complaints relating to information governance, applying relevant exemptions and coordinating cross-departmental responses
Experience required:
*Experience required in Local Government
*Experience dealing with FOI, SARs and EIRs

*Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
