A well-established accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Client Manager to join its General Practice team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with owner-managed businesses, oversee the delivery of accounts and tax services, and play a key role in supporting and developing junior team members.
Responsibilities:
As a Client Manager, you will...
*Manage a portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, acting as the main point of contact for clients.
*Review statutory accounts, tax returns and compliance work, ensuring assignments are completed accurately and on time.
*Provide proactive business advice across accounts, tax, VAT and general commercial matters.
*Build long-term relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to deliver additional services.
*Mentor and support Seniors, Assistants and trainees, helping to manage workflow across the team.
Requirements:
As a Client Manager, you will need...
*ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
*Previous experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice.
*Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax.
*Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members.
*Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
