Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a modern, professional automotive repair business that invests in its people?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and accident damage repairs while benefiting from ongoing training and genuine career progression.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards. You’ll work on behalf of manufacturers, insurance companies, fleet operators, and private customers, ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
*Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
*Complete mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles.
*Inspect vehicle systems and identify repair requirements.
*Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
*Accurately complete job cards, repair records, and associated documentation.
*Follow manufacturer and company repair methods.
*Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
*Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
About You
*Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Automotive Technician.
*IMI Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
*Experience using computer-based diagnostic systems.
*High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
*Experience within a manufacturer-approved repair centre or bodyshop environment would be beneficial.
Hours
*Monday to Friday.
*8-hour shifts.
*Overtime available.
