An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a growing and highly respected building services and energy solutions business operating across London and the Southeast.
This is a mobile role working across a portfolio of commercial, residential and energy centre sites, carrying out planned maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and optimisation works on a wide range of chiller systems.
The Role
As a Chiller Engineer, you will be responsible for:
*Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of chiller systems
*Reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs
*Working on reciprocating, absorption, centrifugal, turbocor and heat pump systems
*Providing technical support and recommendations to customers
*Producing service reports and quotations for remedial works
*Supporting apprentices and junior engineers where required
*Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with service level agreements
*Participating in an on-call rota
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
*F-Gas Certification
*City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling qualification
*Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualifications
*Minimum 5-6 years’ experience working on chiller systems
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and commissioning
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
*Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
*Full UK Driving Licence
