Full job descriptionWe are looking for a motivated Process Operator to join a busy and expanding manufacturing environment producing high-precision components for the aerospace and power generation sectors.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving a combination of machine operation, component assembly, reshaping and finishing activities. Working within a specialist manufacturing team, you will play a key part in producing critical engineered products to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Operate specialist production machinery and equipment.
*Carry out component assembly, reshaping and finishing processes.
*Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings and quality procedures.
*Complete production and inspection documentation accurately.
*Conduct routine equipment checks and report any faults or issues.
*Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety.
*Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
*Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous manufacturing, production or engineering experience.
*Experience operating machinery within a precision engineering environment would be advantageous.
*EDM experience is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided.
*Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience would be an advantage.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to follow processes and work instructions accurately.
*Positive, proactive and reliable attitude.
*Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
