*Annual Salary: £36,500 (plus enhancements for unsociable hours and weekly on-call payment)
*Location: London (Central & West London)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Urgent Care Team Leader to support the operational delivery of Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) and Out of Hours (OOH) services across multiple sites in London. This role is ideal for a confident leader with experience in urgent or healthcare settings who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Support the operational delivery of high-performing IUC and OOH services.
*Deputise for the Service Manager when required.
*Participate in a On-Call rota (1 in 9).
*Line manages operational staff, including performance management, appraisals, recruitment, and attendance.
*Ensure services meet contractual, regulatory, and quality standards (including CQC and Health & Safety).
*Monitor KPIs and access targets, contributing to performance improvement plans.
*Act as an Infection Prevention & Control Champion, supporting audit activity.
*Contribute to quality assurance reporting, incident investigations, and complaint responses.
*Support service improvement initiatives and change management.
*Act as an operational point of contact with partner organisations.
*Identify, manage, and escalate risks to ensure service resilience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience within urgent care, healthcare, or a patient-facing service environment desirable
*Previous supervisory or line management experience.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
*Calm, decisive, and able to perform under pressure.
*Strong commitment to patient-centred care.
*Flexibility to work unsocial hours on a rolling rota.
Desirable / Additional Requirements:
*Experience with data collection, audits, or performance reporting.
*Understanding of governance, compliance, and quality frameworks.
*Willingness to undertake champion roles (e.g., Mental Health First Aid, Freedom to Speak Up, IPC, First Aid).
