Job Description:
Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing finance team and support financial reporting, controls and month-end activities.
If you are AAT qualified with experience as an Accounts Assistant or a Senior Finance Assistant, you could align perfectly with this role. Experience across the board with accounting, reconciliations and month-end support are important areas that you will require experience in.
This is a 6-month temporary assignment.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing monthly accruals and prepayments
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Assisting with management accounts preparation
*Fixed asset accounting
*VAT returns and statutory reporting support
*Supporting audit requests and finance projects
About You
*AAT qualified or actively studying ACCA/CIMA
*Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or Senior Finance Assistant
*Strong month-end experience
*Confident with accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
*Experience producing elements of management accounts
*Strong Excel skills, including lookups and data analysis
