Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursery Assistant, you will:
*Support qualified nursery staff with the care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years.
*Help create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
*Support children’s learning, development, and day-to-day routines.
*Build positive and trusting relationships with children.
*Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
*Assist with mealtimes, personal care, sleep routines, and other daily activities where required.
*Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.
What We’re Looking For*A genuine passion for working with young children.
*Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
*A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
*Good communication and teamwork skills.
*A willingness to learn and develop your Early Years experience.
*An understanding of safeguarding and child protection, or a willingness to learn.
*Reliability and a professional approach to work.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
