Pay: £39,196-£58,120 per annum (Outer London MPS/UPS)
A primary school in Bexley are looking for a KS1 Class Teacher to join them on a long-term basis, starting ASAP.
The school are looking for a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and can create a well-structured classroom where children feel settled and ready to learn. You will be responsible for your own class and will work closely with the school’s support staff.
Main responsibilities:
*Teaching across the KS1 curriculum
*Planning and delivering engaging lessons
*Adapting work to meet individual needs
*Establishing effective classroom routines
*Managing behaviour consistently
*Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
*Working alongside Teaching Assistants
*Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
The successful candidate will have:
*QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
*Previous UK primary teaching experience
*KS1 experience
*Strong classroom management
*Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
*A calm, consistent and approachable manner
