We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Rotherham on an ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Role
*Supporting pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
*Building positive relationships and helping pupils engage with their learning
*Supporting behaviour management strategies and promoting a safe learning environment
*Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs
*Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
Requirements
Previous experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils

Valid Team Teach training (essential)

Strong behaviour management skills

A patient, empathetic and resilient approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
