What skills and experience we are looking for:
*A sound knowledge and understanding of special educational needs and disabilities, demonstrating the ability to adapt and differentiate teaching approaches to cater for a diverse range of needs.
*Experience of working with children, particularly within a special educational setting would be desirable.
*Good basic Maths and English skills, with the ability to support learning in these areas through practical and engaging methods.
*A professional approach, demonstrating empathy, patience and resilience when supporting students.
*Creativity in developing and delivering learning activities that make learning enjoyable, accessible and meaningful for all students.
*A commitment to equal opportunities, ensuring that all students feel included and valued in the learning environment.
*A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults, with a clear understanding of policies and procedures related to safeguarding.
