A friendly and inclusive primary school in Didcot is seeking a dedicated ASD TA to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a great opportunity for an ASD TA who is passionate about supporting children with autism and helping them build confidence, independence and positive relationships.
The RoleAs an ASD TA, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
*Help pupils engage with learning and classroom activities.
*Support behaviour, communication and development.
*Encourage independence and positive social interaction.
*Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and support staff.
*Help create a calm and supportive learning environment.
About YouThe ideal ASD TA will have:
*A caring, patient and supportive approach.
*Strong communication skills.
*A genuine passion for SEN.
*The ability to adapt to individual pupils’ needs.
*Previous school or autism experience is beneficial but not essential.
