Are you a Heavy Plant Engineer or similar looking for a highly autonomous role where you can manage your own workload, have flexibility around your working hours, and receive specialist training on agricultural machinery?
This well-established, family-run machinery business provides sales, servicing and repair solutions to customers across Cheshire and the surrounding regions. Working with a range of leading machinery brands, the business has a strong reputation for supporting customers with heavy plant, tractors, loaders and agricultural equipment.
In this role, you will have a high level of autonomy, travelling to customer sites across a regional patch to service, diagnose and repair a range of heavy plant machinery. You will have flexibility around your working hours depending on customer requirements, while receiving manufacturer-specific training to broaden your knowledge of agricultural machinery and develop your career within the sector.
This role would suit a Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar with strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding experience who enjoys working independently and wants the flexibility to develop their skills across both plant and agricultural machinery.
The Role:
*Work autonomously across a regional patch, managing your own workload

*Service, repair and maintain heavy plant and agricultural machinery

*Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults

*Attend customer sites to carry out breakdown repairs and servicing

*Complete pre-delivery inspections on new machinery

*Benefit from manufacturer-specific training on agricultural equipment

*Have flexibility around working hours to suit the needs of the role

The Person:
*Experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, agricultural or similar machinery

*Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills

*Full UK driving licence

*Commutable to Crewe
