Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering creativity, innovation, and practical skills in a well-equipped learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive DT lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
*Teach a range of DT specialisms such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or textiles, depending on expertise.
*Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to develop their practical and design thinking skills.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
*Contribute to the wider school community, including participation in school events, clubs, and enrichment activities.
*Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and progression across the DT curriculum.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject.
*Proven experience teaching DT at the secondary level is preferred.
*Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of DT curriculum developments.
*Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
