Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
An exciting opportunity for a Hydraulic Modeller to join a growing consultancy in London, working on a range of flood risk, drainage and water management projects across the UK.
The Role:
*Develop and run 1D/2D hydraulic models using software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and/or InfoWorks ICM.
*Undertake flood risk assessments, hydraulic assessments and drainage studies.
*Analyse model outputs and produce technical reports, drawings and flood mapping.
*Support scheme development, including flood mitigation and drainage design.
*Work closely with engineers, planners, environmental consultants and clients.
*Contribute to projects from initial assessment through to detailed design and delivery.
The Candidate:
*Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Engineering or a related discipline.
*Experience in hydraulic modelling and flood risk assessment.
*Proficiency with TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoWorks ICM or similar.
*Strong GIS and data analysis skills.
*Good technical report writing and communication skills.
*Consultancy experience would be advantageous.
