Are you a Systems Engineer with strong Microsoft infrastructure and cloud experience?
We’re looking for an experienced engineer to join a technically diverse environment, taking a leading role in the design, implementation and support of complex server and cloud infrastructure.
This is a hands-on senior position where you’ll combine technical engineering with project delivery, solution design and customer engagement.
What you’ll be doing
*Lead the technical delivery of complex infrastructure projects
*Design, implement and maintain Microsoft server and cloud solutions
*Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and scope technical solutions
*Produce high- and low-level technical designs, project documentation and implementation plans
*Provide technical input into estimates, Statements of Work and change requests
*Configure and deploy infrastructure in line with agreed designs
*Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical problem resolution
*Support live environments, including planned maintenance and incident resolution
*Manage service transition, documentation and knowledge transfer into support teams
*Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure, processes and operational procedures
*Take ownership of technical tasks from initial scoping through to successful delivery
Technical expertise we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have 5+ years’ experience in a senior infrastructure/systems engineering role, working with Microsoft technologies within complex enterprise environments.
Microsoft Server & Infrastructure
*Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
*Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) / PKI
*Windows Server and/or 2025
*Hyper-V, including clustered and standalone environments
