We are recruiting an experienced NHS Booking Coordinator to support a busy assessment booking team on a temporary project.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NHS booking professional with a strong background in patient bookings, referrals and assessment coordination.

*Opportunity to use your existing NHS booking experience within a specialist assessment service
*Ideal for an experienced NHS booker who can quickly become effective within a busy team
You will be supporting the booking of Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Change in Need assessments, so previous experience within CHC, Continuing Healthcare or a related NHS assessment service would be highly advantageous.
This is not a general administration role. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within NHS booking services and are confident managing patient appointments, referrals, clinical diaries and time-sensitive booking activity.
Key Responsibilities*Coordinate and book patient assessments and appointments
*Manage referrals and progress bookings efficiently
*Liaise with patients, families, clinical professionals and other NHS teams
*Coordinate diaries and assessment appointments
*Maintain accurate and confidential patient information and records
*Monitor outstanding bookings and follow up where required
*Work to NHS procedures, deadlines and service standards
*Support the wider team to ensure assessments are arranged promptly and accurately
About YouWe would particularly like to hear from candidates with:
*Previous NHS patient or assessment booking experience
*Experience managing referrals, appointments or patient pathways
*Strong administrative and organisational skills
*Confidence communicating with patients, families and healthcare professionals
*Experience handling sensitive and confidential patient information
*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
*Previous CHC / Continuing Healthcare experience – highly desirable
*Experience of CHC assessments, reviews, DSTs, checklists or Change in Need assessments – advantageous
*The ability to work effectively and independently within a remote team
