Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity in Merseyside?
Tradewind Education is recruiting English Teachers to work across a range of supportive secondary schools throughout Merseyside. We have a variety of short-term and long-term opportunities available, making this an ideal option whether you are looking for a temporary teaching role, a longer-term placement or your next permanent position.
As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop their reading, writing, communication and analytical skills.
The Role
Depending on the school and placement, you could be responsible for:
*Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
*Teaching English Language and Literature.
*Preparing students for GCSE examinations.
*Following existing schemes of work and lesson plans where appropriate.
*Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
*Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
*Building strong relationships with students and encouraging positive attitudes towards learning.
*Working collaboratively with the English department and wider school team.
The Ideal English Teacher
The successful candidate will ideally:
*Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
*Have experience teaching English within a secondary school.
*Be confident teaching across KS3 and KS4.
*Have strong classroom management skills.
*Be passionate about English and committed to raising student achievement.
*Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
*Be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
