Support Young Learners Through Personalised Education
We’re looking for a KS1 & KS2 Tutor to support primary-aged children across West Sussex through tailored 1:1 tuition.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you’ll provide personalised support to learners who require additional educational provision. Many of the children we work with benefit from a nurturing and engaging approach that helps develop core skills, build confidence, and encourage positive engagement with learning.
We’re particularly interested in tutors who can support learners in:
*Crawley
*Worthing
*Horsham
*Chichester
*Bognor Regis
*Littlehampton
Location: West Sussex
Key Stages: KS1 & KS2
Start Date: September
Hours: Flexible
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
*Experience supporting primary-aged children
*Good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
*Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
*Experience supporting children with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Patient, positive, and adaptable approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within West Sussex

*Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
*ADHD
*Anxiety and school avoidance
*Speech, language, and communication needs
*EHCPs and additional educational needs
