A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Flood Modeller to join their growing water team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a Flood Risk Engineer or Hydraulic Modeller looking to develop their technical career within a busy consultancy environment.
The Role:
*Undertake 1D and 2D hydraulic modelling using industry-standard software such as Flood Modeller and TUFLOW.
*Complete flood risk assessments, hydraulic assessments and drainage studies.
*Analyse hydrological and hydraulic data and interpret modelling results.
*Prepare technical reports and flood risk documentation.
*Support flood risk, drainage and water management projects across the UK.
*Work closely with engineers, planners and other technical specialists.
The Candidate:
*Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Geography or a related discipline.
*Previous experience in flood risk, hydraulic modelling or drainage.
*Experience with Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, InfoWorks ICM or similar software.
*Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
*Ideally working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification.
*Full UK driving licence is desirable.
