Nigel Wright are currently supporting a Newcastle based business with their temporary Management Accountant vacancy, offering immediate start!

The Role
The main duties you will cover as Management Accountant:
*Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions
*Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports and business performance insights for senior leadership
*Manage budgeting, forecasting, cashflow planning and scenario analysis to support business growth
*Oversee month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and the maintenance of accurate accounting records
*Take ownership of payroll, pensions and employee-related financial administration
*Manage expenditure, purchasing controls and payment processes

The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
*Strong experience producing management accounts
*Confident managing budgeting and forecasting processes
*Sound knowledge of financial controls, compliance and risk management
*Experience preparing statutory accounts and external financial reporting
*Proven ability to business partner with non-finance stakeholders
*Strong systems and analytical capability
