Join our team at the Dundee Technology Park and play a vital role in the final stages of medical device production. As a Kit Packing Operator, you are the final set of eyes and hands ensuring our life-changing products are packed, verified, and ready for the people who need them most. We are looking for dedicated individuals who take pride in their work and possess a natural aptitude for technical processes.
Job Overview
*Location: Luna Place, Technology Park, Dundee (DD2 1XA).
*Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour.
*Shift Pattern: 2-Weekly Rotation (Monday - Friday) 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM & 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
*Contract Type: 4 months initially
Responsibilities
You will work within a high-standard Assembly and Packing environment, ensuring every product leaves our facility on time and in perfect condition:
*Precision Assembly: Operate manual, semi-automated, and fully automated equipment to assemble and pack medical products with 100% accuracy.
*Quality Documentation: Maintain a "Right First Time" approach by completing Quality Documentation in strict accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
*Procedural Mastery: Follow detailed instructions, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Packing Batch Records (PBRs), to ensure total compliance with medical regulations.
*Safety & Culture: Uphold a "Safety First" culture, ensuring your workspace is clean, organised, and compliant with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
*Continuous Growth: Take ownership of your professional development by staying up to date with site training and evolving manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications
*Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of production process controls and manufacturing best practices.
*Systems Savvy: Ability to navigate Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP or similar).
*Meticulous Nature: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow complex, sequential layout forms and kit instructions.
*Adaptability: A self-motivated professional who is happy to take on additional duties as requested by management to meet the Operations Master Schedule.
