Contract: 6 months initially, Inside IR35
The RoleJoin a Private Capital Fund Accounting team, providing fund valuation and accounting services to private capital funds, ensuring compliance with fund documentation, client SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare and review Financial Statements (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP)
*Prepare valuations, reconciliations, drawdowns, distributions, accruals and expenses
*Double-entry bookkeeping and cash reconciliation
*Prepare investor capital statements and IRR calculations
*Liaise with clients, auditors and internal teams; attend client/audit meetings
*Ensure client SLAs and internal deadlines are met
*Support process/checklist improvements and control documentation
*Support system/platform implementation and change activity
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
*Financial services experience, ideally fund accounts preparation (private capital preferred)
*Fully or part qualified (ACCA/ACA or similar) preferred; currently studying will also be considered
*Strong numerical skills and excellent Excel proficiency
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Strong communicator, team player, able to meet deadlines
Desirable:
*Understanding of private capital fund structures (GP/LP/Feeder)
*Awareness of private capital industry standards and regulations
*Experience in a multi-national environment
