Full job descriptionOur client, a boutique full service City firm are recruiting for a very strong legal secretary with legal background to assist their fee earners in all areas of the law but mainly in company commercial and company secretarial work.
This would be working with two partners in company commercial department who are extremely busy therefore the successful candidate must be highly organised and work well in a pressurised environment.
Generally opening files, follow AML and compliance procedures, deal with company secretarial, CCL , organise files, review of contracts , minutes of meetings, company minutes, organise their work and work to tight deadlines.
Also provide cover for another secretary in the firm while they are annual leave and have a solid presence in the office. Hybrid work is difficult to achieve for this role however the firm could consider one day a week at home for the right candidate.
They use the LEAP system in the office, so a knowledge of this management system would be an advantage.
The firm have an interesting and diverse client base with many of their clients being from overseas.
