Full job descriptionDeals Tax Manager / Senior ManagerAre you looking to build your career within transaction tax and work on some of the most complex and commercially significant deals in the market? This opportunity will see you advising a diverse range of businesses, investors, and private clients on the tax implications of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and growth transactions.
You’ll join a specialist transactions tax team that works closely with corporate finance, restructuring, and advisory professionals, providing tax expertise throughout the deal lifecycle. The role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, from entrepreneurial businesses and private equity-backed companies through to large multinational groups.
The RoleYou will:
*Provide specialist advice on transaction-related taxes across a variety of corporate and real estate transactions.
*Support clients through acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, capital raisings, and wider strategic transactions.
*Conduct due diligence reviews, identifying tax risks, opportunities, and potential liabilities.
*Advise clients on tax-efficient transaction structures while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
*Assist with deal implementation, reviewing legal documentation and ensuring transactions align with proposed tax advice.
*Support clients with pre- and post-transaction restructuring projects.
*Work closely with colleagues across tax, corporate finance, legal, and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
*Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, professional advisers, and internal stakeholders.
*Contribute to business development initiatives and help identify opportunities for further client work.
*Support the development of junior team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
*Assist in developing new service offerings and innovative ways of delivering value to clients.
About YouYou’ll ideally have:
*ACA, ACCA, CTA, legal qualification, or equivalent professional credentials.
*Experience advising on transaction tax matters within practice, legal services, industry, or a related environment.
*Strong technical tax knowledge and an interest in deal-related work.
*Experience managing projects and supporting clients through complex transactions.
*The ability to identify commercial issues and provide practical, solution-focused advice.
*Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
*Strong communication and influencing skills.
*A proactive and collaborative approach to working within multi-disciplinary teams.
