About the RoleOn behalf of my client, I am seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to take responsibility for the operational performance of a regional property portfolio.
This is a senior leadership role, managing and developing a team of Senior Property Managers and Property Managers while ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, resident satisfaction and operational performance.
The successful candidate will be confident leading teams, managing performance, identifying operational improvements and working collaboratively across maintenance, compliance, lettings and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities*Lead the operational performance of a regional property portfolio.
*Manage, coach and develop Property Managers and Senior Property Managers.
*Monitor KPIs, service levels, compliance and overall operational performance.
*Ensure statutory property compliance requirements are met.
*Oversee escalated resident complaints and complex tenancy matters.
*Manage contractor and supplier performance.
*Conduct property inspections and operational reviews.
*Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
*Support the mobilisation of new properties and portfolio growth.
*Produce performance reports and provide updates to senior management.
*Work closely with Maintenance, Compliance, QA, Lettings and Finance teams.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
*Proven experience in a senior property management or operations role.
*Strong residential property management knowledge.
*Experience leading and developing teams.
*Good understanding of property compliance and legislation.
*Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
*Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
*A proactive and commercially aware approach.
*The ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities.
*A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
