Full job descriptionClark Wood are working with an established independent firm of chartered accountants in Redditch who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager.
This is a varied practice role with responsibility for managing your own portfolio of SME clients and acting as a key point of contact.
The Role*Manage a portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
*Prepare and review statutory and management accounts
*Prepare and review tax computations and returns
*Deal directly with clients and handle queries
*Review work completed by junior members of the team
*Support junior staff with their development
*Assist with billing, workflow and general team management
*Get involved in ad hoc client work and projects
About You*ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
*Strong general practice background
*Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients
*Confident dealing directly with clients
*Experience reviewing accounts and supporting junior staff
*Good technical knowledge and strong communication skills
