Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their growing team in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced geoenvironmental professional looking for a varied role with strong technical and project management responsibilities.
The Role:
*Managing and delivering geoenvironmental and contaminated land projects
*Producing Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports
*Planning and supervising ground investigations
*Reviewing and interpreting ground investigation and laboratory data
*Developing conceptual site models and assessing contamination risks
*Supporting remediation strategies and validation
*Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators and other stakeholders
*Mentoring junior members of the team
*Supporting project management, budgets and programme delivery
The Candidate:
*Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering Geology or a related discipline
*Strong experience within geoenvironmental consultancy
*Good understanding of contaminated land and UK environmental legislation
*Experience with Phase 1/2 investigations and technical reporting
*Ground investigation and site supervision experience
*Strong communication and project management skills
*Ideally working towards or holding Chartered status with a relevant professional body
