Location: Central London
Working pattern: 5 days in office
Core working hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with flexibility
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Office Assistant to support an engineering consultancy team. You will play a key role in looking after the office and supporting the wider team, providing administrative assistance across projects and helping to keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to take initiative, and keen to develop in a supportive and friendly environment.
What you’ll do:
*Manage office supplies and facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.
*Provide diary management, correspondence, and administrative support to senior leaders.
*Welcome clients and visitors, and prepare and maintain meeting rooms.
*Liaise with suppliers, equipment service providers, and maintenance contractors.
*Support the coordination of internal events, including team days, lunch & learns, and client events.
*Assist with a range of project-related administrative activities as needed.
Who you are:
*Ideally, you will have at least 6 months’ experience within a corporate environment, as well as previous experience within hospitality or customer service.
*Highly organised, with a positive work ethic and strong attention to detail.
*Friendly, can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism whilst handling multiple tasks.
*A confident communicator with a warm and professional approach.
*Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
*Interested to learn, grow, and develop your skills while supporting a busy team.
