Full job description**Job Title:** Interim Director of English and Maths

**Location:** London

**About the Role / Job Summary:**

The Interim Director of English and Maths will play a crucial role in designing and implementing effective strategies to enhance literacy and numeracy across the college.

**Key Responsibilities:**
*Design, develop, and implement an effective English and maths strategy for the College.
*Establish an accountability mechanism for English and maths to ensure responsibility is appropriately shared across all leadership levels.
*Lead research, professional development, and dissemination of best practices in literacy and numeracy.
*Represent the College at external stakeholder events and policy groups related to English and maths.
The Person
*Significant experience in a Post-16 or Further Education environment.
*Proven track record of delivering high rates of student achievement.
*Experience in delivering staff development and/or teacher training programmes.
*Experience in effectively using digital methodologies for high-quality learning delivery.
*Evidence of improving teaching, learning, and assessment.
*Relevant qualifications in education or related fields.
