Full job descriptionWe are representing a leading UK automotive service centre and tyre retailer, currently seeking an experienced Fast Fit Centre Manager for their Gloucester location. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven supervisory or managerial experience within the automotive or retail sector. The Fast Fit Centre Manager will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.

*42.5 hours per week over a guaranteed 5-day period, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays, ensuring a consistent work schedule
Duties of a Fast Fit Centre Manager:
*Lead and motivate a team of workshop staff and front-of-house personnel
*Drive sales performance and provide coaching to maximise team efficiency as a Fast Fit Centre Manager
*Ensure all customer interactions are professional, adhering to call-back procedures and telephone techniques
*Oversee the daily operation of the depot, including stock control, equipment maintenance, and security
*Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring proper storage of deliveries and stock management
*Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained to safety standards
*Manage security of the branch, assets, customer information, and cash handling
*Support workshop activities as needed, applying relevant vehicle knowledge
*Comply with all company and legal standards, including health and safety protocols
Requirements of a Fast Fit Centre Manager:
*Proven management experience within the automotive or retail sectors
*Technical or mechanical knowledge of vehicles, with the ability to support workshop activities
*Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing positive sales cultures
*Excellent customer focus and communication abilities
*Ability to control costs and ensure compliance with operational standards
*Valid UK driving license with minimal points
*Ability to work effectively in a team environment and motivate others
