Full job descriptionSpace 8 Recruitment are thrilled to be supporting our Coventry-based client to recruit an Audit Manager. This highly-motivated and dynamic Accountancy Practice was established over 50 years ago and thrives today with a 3000 strong client base covering all of the UK.


The Role:
*Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, companies, charities and other clients, you will act as the primary point of contact, providing proactive support and advice.
*Plan, manage and review audit assignments
*Review statutory accounts prepared under relevant UK accounting frameworks.
*Monitor portfolio profitability, work-in-progress and billing.
*Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
*Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members.
*Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients.
What are we looking for?
*ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
*Approximately 4-5 years’ post-qualification experience.
*Experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice.
*Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts and tax compliance.
*Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
*Audit experience, including planning and reviewing audit assignments.
*Experience supervising and developing staff.
