Head of Maintenance, remote across Optalis Nursing & Residential Homes
Fulltime 37 hours weekly, Salary £45,000 – use of company van for work use


We are looking for an individual who can take ownership of this new and exciting role ensuring maintenance runs smoothly and safely in line with compliance standards and someone just as comfortable with a toolbox as they are with a checklist.
This role combines practical maintenance expertise with responsibility for compliance oversight and assurance, helping to ensure Optalis services provide safe, well-maintained and high-quality environments for the individuals we support, staff and visitors.
The Head of Maintenance is responsible for performing maintenance across all Optalis nursing and residential homes and other company locations when required.
Responsible for undertaking both day to day repairs and maintenance and pre-emptive maintenance-related compliance. The role includes some audit and assurance activities, contractor management and Health & Safety activities.
This role requires a full UK manual driving licence.
