Hours: 10 hours per week – 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday
The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust and are recruiting for a School Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Park Academy in London.
Are you friendly, reliable and enthusiastic with experience in catering or a busy kitchen environment? We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who takes pride in providing nutritious, high-quality meals and creating a welcoming experience for pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support with food preparation, meal service, washing up and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen.
*Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures, including taking care of allergies and special dietary requirements.
*Work closely with the kitchen and school team, supporting the Cook/Catering Manager with stock control, records and other reasonable duties.
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in catering, hospitality or a busy kitchen environment, with a good understanding of food hygiene and safety. Level 2 food allergen or food safety desired.
*A reliable team player who can also use their own initiative and maintain consistently high standards.
*Friendly and professional communication skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to undertake training.
What We Offer:
*10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, with weekly pay every Friday.

Requirements:
*Valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
*A minimum of two references covering the previous 24 months of employment.
