Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive Southwark school?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing school on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, alongside a strong understanding of SEN practice and a genuine commitment to helping every child reach their potential.
A degree is preferred, although relevant experience and a strong understanding of SEN will also be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
*Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
*Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to implement individual learning and support plans.
*Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
*Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
*Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
