Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for a leading company dedicated to delivering high-quality research solutions. We are now looking for a meticulous and organised Part-Time Payroll Administrator the team on a 12 month FTC
The Role
In this position, you will take ownership of our end-to-end payroll processing for up to 16 hours a week. You will ensure our dedicated laboratory and administrative staff are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining full compliance with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
*Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll for all salaried and hourly contracted laboratory staff.
*Data Management: Calculate and input overtime, shift allowances, sickness (SSP), maternity/paternity pay, and unpaid leave.
*Pensions & Benefits: Administer workplace pension contributions and student loan deductions.
*Compliance & Reporting: Submit accurate RTI data to HMRC and process year-end requirements (P60s, P45s).
*Queries: Act as the first point of contact for staff payroll queries, resolving them efficiently and discreetly.
What We Are Looking For
*Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar finance/HR administration role.
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC regulations, and auto-enrolment pensions.
*Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality.
*Excellent communication skills
