Typically Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm | On-call required
We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager within a children’s residential home supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural and trauma-related needs.
Key Responsibilities*Deputise for the Registered Manager.
*Lead, support and develop the care team.
*Manage rotas, supervisions and staff development.
*Support safeguarding, care planning and risk management.
*Maintain Ofsted compliance and accurate records.
*Promote trauma-informed and PACE approaches.
*Work with families and other professionals.
*Balance management duties with direct care.
*Participate in the management on-call rota.
About You*3+ years’ senior/supervisory experience in children’s residential care.
*Experience supporting complex needs, trauma and challenging behaviour.
*Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.
*Knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
*Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare – Essential.
*Full UK driving licence – Essential.
*Level 5 Leadership & Management desirable.
