Full job description Registered Manager - Children’s Residential Home
Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + £700 On-Call Payment (up to 8 times per year)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Children’s Residential Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step?
This is a rare opportunity to launch and lead a brand-new Ofsted-regulated children’s home in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. You’ll have the chance to build your own team, shape the culture from day one and make a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Managing the day-to-day running of the home.
*Recruiting, developing and leading your own staff team.
*Ensuring Ofsted compliance and outstanding safeguarding standards.
*Delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care.
*Building strong partnerships with local authorities and professionals.
What We’re Looking For
*Children’s Residential Care experience is essential.
*Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience.
*Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Standards.
*Experience supporting young people with EBD and complex needs.
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or working towards.
Please note: Due to Ofsted requirements, candidates with Supported Living-only experience cannot be considered.
