Location: Manchester / Greater Manchester
Pay: £14.43 per hour
Contract: Temporary

We are recruiting a Project Worker to support vulnerable children and young people who are missing from care or at risk of going missing across Greater Manchester.
The Role
As a Project Worker, you will:
*Complete Missing from Care Return Interviews.
*Assess risk, identify support needs, and provide short-term interventions.
*Manage your own caseload of children and young people.
*Work alongside social care, police, education, and other partner agencies.
*Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
*Maintain accurate records and case notes.
*Help children and young people have their voices heard.
About You
To be successful as a Project Worker, you will have:
*Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, particularly those in care.
*Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and exploitation risks.
*Experience completing assessments and planning interventions.
*Strong communication, advocacy, and record-keeping skills.
*A relevant qualification in Social Work, Youth & Community Work, Childcare, or a related field.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-agency team.
Additional Information
*Travel across Greater Manchester is required.
*Some evening and occasional overnight work may be necessary.
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
