Academics are recruiting for a Nursery & Early Years Assistant to support our growing number of Early Years requirements across Dunstable.
We work with primary schools, nursery classes and Early Years settings throughout Dunstable, and we’re looking for experienced people who can provide engaging and nurturing support.
What could your day involve?
As a Nursery & Early Years Assistant, no two days are exactly the same.
You could be:
*Setting up creative learning activities
*Reading stories and supporting communication
*Encouraging learning through play
*Supporting early phonics and numeracy
*Helping children develop independence
*Supporting children with additional needs
*Observing and celebrating developmental milestones
*Providing personal care when required
Role: Nursery & Early Years Assistant
Location: Dunstable
Pay: £90-£105 per day, depending on experience
Start: ASAP
Settings: Primary schools, nursery classes and Early Years provision
Who would we like to hear from?
Previous Early Years experience is important.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with nursery, pre-school, Reception or EYFS experience.
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years would be a strong advantage.
A great Nursery & Early Years Assistant also needs patience, energy, reliability and a genuine understanding of how young children learn.
